Reliable neurological testing in a comfortable environment

Slide background About Zia Neurology

Dr. Amir Zia

In 2003, Dr. Zia seized an opportunity to fulfill a need in the Bowling Green Kentucky area where he subsequently fell in love with the family oriented community and made it his permanent home.

Specializing in Autonomic Nervous System Testing (ANS), Dr. Zia is one of only a handful of neurologists in the U.S. trained in this highly specific area of expertise.

“I’ve seen many a complex case that involved inexplicable episodes of blacking out, nausea and vomiting, sweating, and increased heart rate and blood pressure. Many of these patients sought diagnoses from multiple doctors throughout the course of years, without any resolution before they came to us.”

ANS Testing is a rare specialty and even when it is offered, most neurologists do not share Dr. Zia’s formal training or are equipped with an onsite autonomic laboratory. One year after moving to Kentucky, Dr. Zia opened his own practice and has been helping patients receive the neurological care and pain management they need for more than a decade.
